Where to find hope in the bible

Truth: What troubles you matters to God; He wants to shoulder the burden with you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.

Truth: Continue to tithe, even in financial stress, and God will bless you for it. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side. She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring.

You and your sons can live on what is left. T he Good News: Even in the most dire circumstances, even when we are faced with death, the Lord is there to support us. Love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things, endures all things.

The Good News: We cannot truly love without hoping; with love, all things become possible. Why are you so upset inside? Hope in God! Because I will again give him thanks, my saving presence and my God.

The Good News: Do not be discouraged; lift your heart in praise. God will give you strength. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all, who is over all, through all, and in all. The Good News: Our hope is founded on the rock of our faith in the one God, who undergirds all we see and hear and touch.

Only God is my rock and my salvation — my stronghold! The Good News: Still your troubled mind and patiently wait for God. He will never let you down. The Good News: Our God is a living God, present here and now to give hope to all who believe and call on Him in prayer. Because faithful love is with the Lord; because great redemption is with our God! The Good News: Put your trust and your hope in God. His love will never fail you. We even take pride in our problems, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

The Good News: Have faith that God can transform your suffering into personal character and the hope that springs from it. May he encourage your hearts and give you strength in every good thing you do or say. If God himself is our refuge, nothing can threaten our ultimate safety. Hard times are often even harder when they feel pointless.

And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. Our difficulties may feel heavy, but their weight is designed to drive us into deeper intimacy with God, strengthening us and anchoring us to the steady hope of his love. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. As we endure difficulties, we can reach out to brothers and sisters in Christ who have experienced similar struggles, borrowing their strength and hope as we move forward. And as we begin to find our own footing on the path through suffering, we can turn around and offer comfort to those journeying behind us. He will live with them, and they will be his people.

God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. There will be no more sin or brokenness, no more fear, loss or grief.
