Why do you like peeta

Peeta is a nice guy, but a nice guy that does not finish last, if only one thing you get of THG trilogy is a very good example and explanation of how girls say they want a nice guy but friend zone him and go for the bad boy, is NOTcause girls are crazy or don't make sense, is cause the concept of NICE guy in their minds is different from the one in ours, Peeta is a GREAT example of the IDEAL nice guy.

Is this still revelant? He was always too weak for me. Yes, it's very sweet how much he loves Katniss, but to the point where his entire existence is Katniss. He doesn't live separate from her. The only time I really liked him very much was in the first book, when he talked about how afraid he was of dying a slave - that was true Peeta coming out.

That was him as a human being, living in and of himself. I always liked Gale. Sure, he was too fiery and didn't think, but he was independent. He loved Katniss and he'd do almost anything for her, but he could live without her if he had to. Other people, like his and her families, mattered to him. He had a purpose in life. KylieJ Xper 4. Also, the book and movie are pretty popular, so a lot of girls have read, heard, or watched the Hunger Games, which kind of brings them to liking some specific boy or whatever.

And in that case, Most of us like Peeta. I know this answer is seriously crappy and all, but you know, newbies like me, are, ahem new. I prefer to think he was trying to manipulate his way into a kiss, which is far less impressive than actually making a move. Apart from the fact that he looks like a Greek god, Gale actually has a healthy fight in him. He is actually a partner in her life. Peeta is simply a glorified shoulder who trips over himself to please Katniss.

For the purposes of The Hunger Games , Gale is that first type, and Peeta is most especially that second type. Am I the only one that hates Peeta? The only reason there was a love triangle in Mockingjay was because he was tricked into thinking that she was evil and he was actually mean to her for once.

I'm sorry, but I never really understood why anyone liked Gale. For me, it was just for PR, and I never really liked that. I don't care if it became real, I just never felt there was like, a basis on which their relationship developed..
